Results for America (RFA) is the leading, national nonprofit organization helping policymakers at all levels of government harness the power of evidence and data to solve the world’s greatest challenges. Our mission is to make investing in what works the “new normal,” so that, one day, all government leaders use rigorous evidence and quality data to inform important policy and funding decisions. We believe that data-driven and evidence-based policy decisions should be used to increase the impact of the over $2 trillion that governments spend annually to open opportunities and advance economic mobility.
Program Overview
RFA’s 2025 summer internship program will run for approximately 10 weeks, from Monday, June 2 - Friday, August 15, 2025. Over the course of this internship, all interns will be immersed in RFA’s programmatic and policy work by supporting one of RFA's innovative teams in achieving their strategic goals. Interns will work on various projects during their time at RFA, while also enjoying a range of learning and professional development opportunities.
Interns will work virtually and will be expected to use their own internet/computers. Interns will be assigned RFA email addresses for the duration of the summer.

Position Requirements
RFA offers summer internships to individuals who are at least 18 years old and who have:
- Proficient computer skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills;
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, ambition, curiosity, and rigor in all that you do;
- A commitment to Results for America’s mission and vision;
- Respect for Results for America’s organizational values.
Rate of Pay
Individuals with 1-4 years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $27/hour.
Individuals with 5 or more years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $32/hour.
The exact work schedule will be determined in coordination with the relevant RFA program lead.
Interns at Results for America are 1099 employees and are not eligible for benefits.
