Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Rock House Kids is seeking an organized and dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team! This role involves overseeing and developing programs for children in the evening, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring smooth operations of various activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all aspects of the evening program for children, including organizing events, activities, and outings.
  • Prepare and lead Chapel activities (excluding pastoral duties), setting up videos and songs for program nights.
  • Check in children and teens, prepare attendance sheets, and maintain databases for participants.
  • Oversee the Storeroom Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator, meeting with them regularly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, organize, and promote special events, enrichment activities, and partnerships with outside organizations.
  • Coordinate field trips, manage permission slips, and organize emergency drills annually.
  • Assist with Christmas preparations and giveaways.
  • Maintain an organized supply closet and ensure Event Night giveaways are stocked.
  • Ensure discipline is maintained in the evening programs, fostering a positive and safe environment.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Check and respond to emails, voicemail, and calendar invites daily.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, including attendance sheets and suspension logs.
  • Attend various meetings, including leadership, program, and staff meetings.
  • Assist the Executive Director with special projects and attend the annual fundraiser.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • CPI Training preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with children and/or youth programs is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries with volunteers and children.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday.
  • Evening shifts starting at 4:30 pm on program nights.
  • Regular weekly meetings with leadership and coordinators.
  • Flexibility to assist with events and outings as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
