Description
Purpose of Job
This purpose of this position is to actively research, apply, and manage all aspects of the pre and post grant process for the Sustainability Department as well as other departments or assigned partners engaged in meeting ACCGov sustainability goals. The position also develops and manages donations, sponsorships, in-kind service and related programs that support ACCGov’s sustainability goals.
Minimum Training & Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
Bachelor's degree with major course work in grants administration, project administration, sustainability, environmental sciences, energy/clean energy, or public administration.
Three years of experience with grant writing, project management, public administration, energy, environmental or related field, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years direct experience with grant development, administration, or project management.
At least 2 years direct experience with professional-level writing and serving as a principle on grant applications.
At least 1 year of experience with sub-recipient compliance administration.
Master’s degree in grants administration, project administration, sustainability, environmental sciences, energy/clean energy, or public administration.
Have one of the following certifications: Grants Manager, Project Manager, Sustainability Professional, Public Administration, Natural Resource Management, Energy Management, or similar professional certification.
