Bay Area Funders Together to End Homelessness (BAFTEH), a fiscally sponsored project of Northern California Grantmakers (NCG) and a regional network of Funders Together to End Homelessness (FTEH), is a new collaboration of Bay Area philanthropic organizations working collectively to strategically research, support, and facilitate innovative solutions that maximize impact and scale homelessness and housing justice
solutions.
BAFTEH seeks a Director to lead its dynamic and transformative coalition. This position will implement the network’s strategic plan, facilitate collaboration among funders, and harness philanthropic resources to influence regional policy, drive systemic change, and enhance funding for homelessness and housing justice solutions.
The Director will drive education and convening, advocacy, and partnership efforts while also fostering
innovative, collaborative grantmaking while expanding membership and securing funding to sustain and grow BAFTEH’s impact. The Director will report to and collaborate closely with BAFTEH’s Advisory Council, managing an annual operating budget of $375,000 and fundraising efforts aimed at a minimum of $1 million.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, visionary, and entrepreneurial leader fluent in homelessness, housing policy, and philanthropy. They should have experience in coalition building,fundraising, and systems change work and be able to effectively engage diverse stakeholders, from funders to policymakers and community leaders. Candidates should also have a proven track record of successfully leading collaborative initiatives,
securing financial resources, and driving impact at the intersection of philanthropy and social change. A strong commitment to racial equity and housing justice is essential.
The salary range is $180,000–$200,000, with a competitive benefits package.
