About the Organization:
Haven Ministries is an evangelical Christian media ministry with an estimated daily audience of 500,000 for the Haven Today radio broadcast, heard on 600+ stations across North America. The ministry also publishes Anchor Devotional, a daily devotional printed monthly and a syndication of about 10,000. The mission of Haven Ministries is to “engage and encourage people to behold and follow Jesus Christ.” Our tagline on the air is, “Sharing the Great Story that’s all about Jesus.” To support our ministry efforts, we are seeking a full-time Digital Content Manager.
Hours: Full-time

Overview:
Haven Ministries is seeking a creative and collaborative Digital Content Manager to oversee and execute the development, optimization, and management of digital content across web, email, video, and podcasting platforms. Under the guidance of the Director of Project Management, this role bridges the gap between Production, Marketing, and Development Teams to provide unified content to Haven’s listeners, readers, and supporters. The Digital Content Manager will have a passion for Christ-centered storytelling, a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, and the ability to leverage analytics to drive data-informed strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive content strategies focused on reaching new and existing audiences with Christ-centered content
- Coordinate with writers, editors, designers, and videographers to create and promote engaging content that aligns with the Haven Today radio broadcast, including blog posts, videos, ministry email updates, fundraising campaigns, and digital advertising
- Collaborate with Development and Marketing Teams to develop and execute fundraising campaigns through paid and organic digital media
- Work closely with the President & Host of Haven Ministries to communicate regularly with ministry supporters through segmented email updates and campaigns
- Manage a content calendar using Asana to ensure consistent publishing and timely delivery of projects
- Optimize web content for search engines to drive organic traffic.
- Use analytics tools to monitor content performance and make data-driven improvements
- Generate reports on content performance, audience engagement, and campaign ROI
- Work with IT and design teams to troubleshoot technical issues, maintain platform integrations, and improve the user experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Digital Content Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Woocommerce, Shopify, iDonate, Mailchimp, SEMRush, Yoast SEO, and Descript.)
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (GA4 and Google Tag Manager)
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Experience in video production or graphic design is a plus
