Position Overview

The Associate, Partnerships and Community Impact will support the Director and Vice President of Partnerships and Community Impact in delivering Results for America’s strategic partnerships strategy. The Associate will support external partner meetings, plan and execute quarterly Community of Practice convenings, support impact tracking processes, and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement processes and long-term strategy.

 

Travel up to 20% annually may be required.

 

This is a full time, exempt position, based in a home office anywhere within the U.S.

 

Position Reporting Relationship

 

The Associate, Partnerships and Community Impact reports to RFA’s Director of Partnerships and Community Impact. 

 

Position Responsibilities

 

Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Program Support [30%]
    • Support the Director in building and sustaining the Community of Practice (CoP), ensuring member organizations are bought into and contributing to its key strategic vision;
    • Support the execution of a performance management process to track progress and impact of strategic partnership efforts towards Results for America’s North Star goals;
    • Assist in the execution of RFA’s enterprise-wide partnerships model;
    • Assist in fundraising and development efforts as needed; and
    • Other programmatic tasks as needed.

  • Meetings and Events Coordination [45%]
    • Support the Director of Partnerships and Community Impact in the planning and implementation of regular Community of Practice and other strategic partnership meetings, including:
    • Agenda development and sharing;
    • Preparation of materials and presentations;
    • Design of knowledge exchange processes;
    • Following up on the next steps after regular meetings; and
    • Meeting facilitation as needed.
    • Support the Director, Partnerships, and Community Impact in the planning and execution of partnership events and convenings, including:
    • Identifying and counting locations and venues;
    • Coordinating with partners/leads to develop and finalize the agenda, including session content and team-building activities;
    • Supporting a post-convening feedback process and retrospective; and
    • Providing technical and logistical support during webinars, convenings, and other external meetings.

  • Administration [25%]
    • Pull data to support the development of grant reports and deliverables;
    • Maintain Salesforce and other databases with accurate relationships, program records, and impact metrics; and
    • Provide program-specific project management support including, but not limited to, developing presentations, memos, and other materials.
    • Support purchase requests within ADH budget guidelines from non RFA staff.

Experience, Competencies, and Qualifications 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, as well as an alignment with Results for America’s mission and organizational values:

Experience: 

  • 3 - 6 years of work experience and college degree
    • Work experience within government (federal, state, and/or county/city) valued
  • Experience contributing to projects, administrative processes or events
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a team player
  • Demonstrated experience in managing external relationships; 
  • Experience with impact tracking, monitoring, and evaluation;
  • Enthusiasm and passion for working with government officials; and
  • Experience in event planning and logistics support is preferred.

 

Competencies:

  • Strong writing, project management, and interpersonal skills are essential;
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to use a range of office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and is comfortable with designing presentations;
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain multiple projects simultaneously; 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong people and partnership management skills, including the ability to diffuse conflict and participate in complex management and reporting structures;
  • An entrepreneurial, learning orientation and an ability to consistently embrace and incorporate direct feedback; 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collegial environment as well as work independently and take initiative;
  • Superior work ethic; and
  • Passion for Results for America’s mission.

 

Salary and Benefits

 

Results for America offers a compensation package that includes:   

  • A competitive base salary commensurate with relevant work experience; and
  • A benefits package that includes choice in medical plans; dental/vision coverage; paid time off; a 403b retirement plan with employer contribution.  

 

The salary range for this position is $70,246 - $81,576.

 

New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
